Waterfall Yoga Hike, Swim & Wine Tasting

Sunday June 8th

We're heading northeast to the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. We'll do a light and lovely hike near a waterfall, and then practice yoga to the soothing sounds of flowing water. We'll lunch as we relax and bask in post-yoga feelings. If it's warm enough, we'll have time to swim in the waterfall.

After we're exercised, stretched and relaxed, we'll head to one of the finest vineyards in Connecticut for a wine tasting. Snacking on cheese and other morsels of yummy delight, we'll take our best guess at naming the qualities of the wines.

Our yoga practice will be a flowing vinyasa / hatha style, suitable for all levels. Beginners welcomed.

Wear stretchy comfortable clothing, athletic pants or crop pants or shorts with a liner, a somewhat fitted t-shirt or tank top, sneakers, and a light jacket or sweater if it is cooler. Layers are good if weather is cooler in morning and then warmer during the day.

Please bring a yoga mat, water, lunch, swimsuit, towel, sunhat, suncreen, insect repellent, sunglasses.

Cost: $85

Includes: Yoga Class, Guided Hike, Wine Tasting, RT transportation to/from NYC, and cheese and snacks at the vineyard.

Pickup times & locations:

7:45am - Union Square, 14th & 4th

7:50am - Union Square, 14th & 6th

8:00am - Upper West Side , 64th & Broadway (at lululemon)

6:00pm - Arrive NYC
